สำหรับบางคนที่ยังไม่รู้จักว่า โฟร์สแควร์ คืออะไร
FourSquare เป็นแอพที่เอาไว้บอกว่าเราอยู่ที่ไหน และทำอะไร อยู่ โดยจะสามารถลงข้อมูลรวมกัน
กับ Location ได้ (คล้าย google map) โดยวิธีการแจ้งว่าเราอยู่ที่ไหนนั้น FourSquare จะใช้คำว่า
"Check-in" เราจะมีแต้มสะสมเมื่อเราได้เช็คอิน ณ สถานที่ใดที่หนึ่ง เก็บเป็นคะแนน เพื่อแลกเหรียญ
รางวัลเล็กๆมาประดับ (badge) หรือถ้าหากเราไปสถานที่ใดบ่อยๆ ก็จะได้เป็น เจ้าถิ่น (Mayor) ซึ่งใน
ทางต่างประเทศ ก็มีการใช้ FourSquare กันเป็นเรื่องเป็นราว ถึงขนาดที่ว่า ถ้าใช้เป็น Mayor ที่ร้าน
ของเขา ก็จะมีเบียร์ฟรีให้เลยทีเดียว !!
ในการเช็กอิน ยังสามารถเพิ่ม "สิ่งที่ต้องทำ (Todo List)" และ "ทิป (Tips)" ในการเข้าไปยังสถานที่
แต่ละแห่งที่คุณ Check-in เข้าไปได้ด้วย เพื่อเป็นการบอกคนอื่นๆ ให้รู้ว่าหากคุณมาที่นี่แล้ว คุณควรจะ
ทำอะไร เช่น check-in เข้าไปที่ร้านอาหารแห่งหนึ่ง สามารถแนะนำ Todo ได้ว่า ควรสั่งอาหารนี้มากิน
หากคุณอยู่ที่ร้านนี้ได้ เป็นต้น
แบจ (badge) ของ Foursquare มีหน้าตาน่ารัก ๆ เป็นไปตามชื่อแบจ ลองมาสะสมกันดู… ^ ^
